Microsoft Software Assurance Home User Program (HUP) – this program gives you the opportunity to get a licensed copy of the most common Microsoft Office programs for install and use on your home computer.
The program allows you and your colleagues that use qualified programs at work (i.e. Office Enterprice) to get a licensed copy of the corresponding program (i.e Office Enterprice) to install and user on your home computer. You can continue using the HUP software as long as you are an employee at Mid Sweden University and as long as its corresponding software you are using at work are covered by an active Software Assurance.
Note that some products and language versions may not be available when you make your order. Information about availability for Home User Program is found at http://microsoft.com/licensing.
To get access to the website for Microsoft Home User program follow these instructions:
1. Go to http://hup.microsoft.com
2. Choose your country.
3. Fill in your email address at MIUN and the softwarecode, which you receive from Helpdesk.
Note! This code is only for use by the staff in our organization and it is forbidden to give it to anyone that is not employed by Mid Sweden University.
4. An email will be sent to your email address. Use the button “Buy now” in the email and follow the instructions to place your order.
5. At the end of the order process you will be able to download your software. In the “Shopping cart” step you can also choose to complement your order with a DVD.
