Student accommodation

Accomodation choices vary from campus to campus, but all student accommodation in Sweden is generally of a high standard. As an admitted student at Mid Sweden University you can book a room on your own, by sending an e-mail to the proprietor of your choice.

The proprietor can usually offer you a furnished single room or small (shared) flat for around SEK 2800 per month. Some rooms have their own toilet and shower, and some also have a small kitchen. In other cases, you will share a bathroom, kitchen, and living room with a small number of other students. We do not provide accommodation where the student is required to share a bedroom. Each student is always responsible for his or her own room and the cleaning of the room. The students also have a responsibility for the shared spaces.

You can book a room by sending an e-mail to the proprietor of your choice. You find contact information down below.

The Municipality Relocation Service

Mid Sweden University’s campus cities have “Relocation Officers” who work for the Municipality. These relocation officers help new citizens by answering questions regarding accommodation, work possibilities, activities during leisure time, etc. The service is free of charge. Contact the Relocation Service in you city if you want guidance.
