A requieredkick-start
During the autumn of 2008, the build-up of an internal innovation-supporting activity, MIUN Innvoation, was initiated. To get a kick-start, the university chose to apply for funds from the EU Structural Funds, Objective 2.
The project was approved and this way, MIUN Innovation could start its activities during the spring of 2009. During the first period, focus was on finding the right team and finding a suitable office. Cooperation agreements with Åkroken Science Park and Business Incubator in Jämtland were concluded and working methods were developed together with these partners.
