In Sundsvall Mid Sweden University recommends three different proprietor and areas of student accommodation to international students.
Mitthem/Stubo
The proprietor Mitthem/Stubo provides accommodation in various areas in Sundsvall. Nacksta is one of these areas and a popular home among international students. This area is situated about two kilometers from the university. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk there but there is also a regular bus service. Mitthem/StuBo also provides student accommodation in other areas. Look into www.mitthem.se for more information. If you want to book a room at StuBo this is done at the website. All StuBo apartment are unfurnished, but renting furniture is fast and easy.
You can rent an entire set of furniture or a piece of furniture to your new apartment. "MTU Ekonomisk forening" is responsible for renting furniture to students. The proprietor Diös Fastigheter AB provides modern furnished accommodation in the central area called Norrmalm, close to Sundsvalls centre and only about 7-10 minutes walk to the university. Sjöfast - Tornvillan
The proprietor Sjöfast AB provides furnished accommodation in the area called Tornvillan. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the university and 20 minutes to walk to town. If you want to book a room at Tornvillan, please send an e-mail to:
