Internal support and help at Mid Sweden University
There is a central crisis management group, which has the overall, as well as strategic, responsibility for the crisis work at Mid Sweden University and its entire organisation. On every campus there are local crisis management groups that have a local responsibility for the crisis management, and they have the duty to see to it that adequate resources are called in. Their responsibility is also to provide the central crisis management group with regular and correct information.

Work environment
The employer is responsible for the work environment, and as such he/she is obliged to take adequate measures to protect the employee from bad health, accidents and exclusion from the work place. Part of the employer’s responsibility is also to see to it that the employee, after illness or injury, is able to keep his/her job or get another suitable position.
At each department/unit there is a safety officer, who is the representative of the employees as concerns work environment issues.
