Accommodation Sundsvall

In Sundsvall, Mid Sweden University recommends three different housing companies and areas of student accommodation to international students.

Mitthem/Stubo  

Mitthem/Stubo is the municipal housing company in Sundsvall with a broad selection of different accommodation options. Mitthem offers approximately 900 apartments and dormitory rooms in various areas in Sundsvall. Nacksta is one of these areas and a popular home among international students. This area is situated about two kilometres from the university campus. It takes approximately 10 minutes to walk to Mid Sweden University and there is also a regular bus service.

All StuBo apartments are unfurnished, but renting furniture is fast and easy."MTU Ekonomisk förening" is responsible for renting furniture to students. For more information, please visit www.mtu-sundsvall.se.

Diös Fastigheter AB  (Fully booked in August, vacancies can occur in September/October.)

Diös Fastigheter AB provides modern furnished accommodation in the central area called Norrmalm. The area Norrmalm is situated 200 metres from the bus station and about 1 500 metres from the central station. Mid Sweden University is a 7-10-minute walk away.

Sjöfast AB 

Sjöfast AB provides furnished accommodation in the area called Tornvillan. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Mid Sweden University and 20 minutes to walk to Sundsvall city centre, there is also a regular bus service.
