Spring time
After a long cold winter you can start to detect certain well known signs of spring. When the sun starts to shine more often, when the snow melts and the asphalted roads starts to show, the spring flowers bloom in the hillsides and the cafés put up their outdoor seating areas- then you know spring is here. Rent your own pond (lake) for a day!
Why not rent your own pond for a day full of trout (fish) with option of overnight accommodation. Just 25 kilometers northwest of Sundsvall is the wilderness where you can rent your own pond full of trout. In connection with the lake there are places to stay in a Swedish Kåta (hut/tent). Jamtli Spring Fair is a large fair in spring in Östersund. For anyone who is interested in gardening, handicrafts and cultural houses. Famous speakers and artisans will participate to inspire. Over a hundred exhibitors will participate; there will also be music, carousels and much more.

Motor fair
Between May 26 and 27 a Motor Fair will be held in Östersund, this year the theme is –Racing! The moped (scooter) celebrates 60 years; this anniversary will be recognized by a gathering of mopeds old and new. This will be a weekend with a lot of cars - old and new, some trade and shows.
