The Winter Festival
For the third time, between the 27th of January and 5th of February 2012, Östersund will once again host The Winter Festival, this time in connection with Championship Week (SM-veckan). For 10 winter days and nights, Östersund will be filled with fascinating light installations, spectacular sporting events, and a wide variety of culture and entertainment. The Winter City Östersund offers contrast, and that’s exactly what visitors will experience during the festivities.
