The course has a focus on oral proficiency and is designed to help the students acquire basic proficiency in Swedish. The aim is that the student should be able to use Swedish in everyday situations. During the course we will also focus on the culture and society so the student will acquire a basic knowledge about Sweden.
We offer the course at all three campuses: Härnösand, Sundsvall and Östersund.
Teaching comprises for example lectures, lessons, group exercises. We will use Svenska för utländska studenter (Swedish for foreign students) written by Gunilla Rehnqvist throughout the course. At the end of the course there will be an exam and the oral proficiency will be continuously assessed during lessons.
