Mid Sweden University offer students a range of services, support and study facilities that will assist you in your studies. Below we have listed the different services available to you.
Services
International Desk
The International Desk provides a range of services to international students. The staff provides information about Mid Sweden University and Sweden and administrates tuition fees, pick-up service and the buddyprogramme. They welcome students during the introduction days and provides the newsletter MIUN International.
Admission Office
The application for programmes at Mid Sweden University is submitted at www.universityadmissions.se. If you have questions regarding your application and the admission process you are welcome to contact the Admission Office at Mid Sweden University.
Learn Swedish
Mid Sweden University offers a beginners course in the Swedish Language for international students registered at our university. There are also a number of other options available for students wanting to study Swedish.
Work and career
The Work and career Department introduces students to the labour market during their studies. They offer placements, free guest lecturers from the commercial and industrial sectors and much more.
Student Health Centre
The Student Health Centre provides preventive health care for students at Mid Sweden University and is a complement to the public health care system.
Library
The Mid Sweden University Library with Learning Resource Centre (LRC) have three campus libraries and five areas of activity, each with a campus wide coordinating team.
Learning and Resource Centre
Learning and Resource Centre serves as a resource for both students and teachers. LRC work with developing both technical and didactic support for teachers, run courses and also holds seminars.
Degree Office
When you have completed your studies, you should apply for a degree certificate and the application is made at the Degree Office.
IT Helpdesk
If you have computer related questions or any problems with the Student Portal account the IT Helpdesk can help you.
Disability Services
If you have functional disabilities so that you need help with your studies, you have the right to additional support. At Mid Sweden University we have coordinators, who will help you with such arrangements.
Student Affairs Offices
Each academic department has a Student Affairs Office where the departmental secretary provides information and service to the student studying at that department. They answer questions about examinations, schedules and registration to courses.

Student Unions
On every campus within Mid Sweden University, there is a Student Union that looks after your interests as concerns your education and questions related to the social aspects of student life.
Grading Criteria
Mid Sweden University applies a grading scale of seven levels, A–F. There are general grading criterias for each of the seven levels of the grading scale to all courses at the undergraduate and advanced levels.
Credit transfer
If you are a student at Mid Sweden University and have previous studies, work experience prior learning or other skills, you can apply for accreditation/credit transfer.
