Geography BS (University of Nottingham); Environmental Planning MA (University of Nottingham); Urban Planning and Policy Development PhD (Rutgers University).

Areas of interest

Tourism Geography, the economic geography of tourism, tourism and sustainable development, tourism in islands and peripheral regions.

Current research

Tourism in neoliberal environments, tourism and resilience theory, tourism workers (equity dimension of sustainable areas).

Teaching and tutoring

Economic Geography, Tourism Planning, Theory and Methodology in Tourism, Tourism Research and many more.

Other information

In addition I teach PhD courses on various topics from time to time – including Social Theory, Writing for researchers, Tourism Resources, etc.
