Jonas Örtegren got his PhD in Polymer Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology in 2001. He thereafter worked with dynamics at liquid-air interfaces at the Max-Planck-Institute in Potsdam, and with functional materials at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim.
He came to DPC and Mid Sweden University in 2005 and has worked with the building up of the research at DPC. He is at present heading a group in Experimental Inkjet at DPC, working with ink-media interaction and digital fabrication. He is subject representative for Graphic Arts Technology at Mid Sweden University.
