What is EndNote?

EndNote is a bibliography manager software program which helps you collect and organize references in a database, format citations and create bibliographies automatically in word processing software. To install Endnote on your computer you need a licence, contact Helpdesk for purchase and upgrades. The Endnote program is usually upgraded annually, the most recent version is X7. When Endnote is installed on your computer an endnote tab appears in your word processor, with tools that allow you to automatically insert and format citations and bibliographies in a document you are working on. For more information and instructions on how to use Endnote see the user guides and manuals in the right hand menu.

Library tutorials in EndNote

The library provides initial training in EndNote for Mid Sweden University faculty, researchers and graduate students three times every year:

Härnösand: September/October
Östersund: November/December
Sundsvall: March/April
