What is a short loan?

The campus library where the course is administered, holds two copies of all required course literature : one copy is for short loan and can be booked in advance, in the library search system Primo. Remember that a short loan must be returned at the library where it was borrowed.

We recommend that to be sure of the loan, you should reserve the title(s) in advance for collection at the information desk (Floor 4 in Härnösand.) The other copy, 14 day loan, can be reserved in the library search system Primo, if not available on shelf.

Overdue / late returns

Late return of a short (course) loan is charged with an immediate fine of 100 SEK, with a further 100 SEK/day until the loan is returned. Short loans must be returned to the library where they are checked out.

Reservation limits

You are allowed three current reservations. Please note that you may borrow as many books as you like.

Checking out a reserved short loan

You can check out your booking 1 hour before the start of the period, providing the book is in and 1 hour after (30 minutes in Härnösand). After that the reservation is cancelled and the copy then becomes available to other borrowers.
