Library account and material sent home

In order to borrow at Mid Sweden University Library you need a library account. You get your library account when you activate your student portal login and approve of the library lending rules. It takes about an hour after your activation before the library account is made.

Did you not approve the library's lending rules in the student portal? In that case follow our Library Account Application Guide to register all your details.

To get materials sent home, you need to fill in our form for home delivery of requested material .

Off-campus access to our catalogue

You request required material in the Library catalogue, and we send it to you free of charge* but please note that you will have to pay the return postage. You can also renew your loans from home.

We extend the first loan period with five extra days*. This is to compensate for the time the material is in the post.

Finding articles in databases from home

You locate the database via the Library's homepage, then log in with the Studentportal user id and password. If you need help please contact the helpdesk.
