Alcohol

Every once in a while, it may be wise to stop and reflect on your own drinking. Your drinking habits affect your study habits. You may for instance need to consider if you drink too often? Always get drunk? Forget what you have done etc. Whatever the problem may be, it is always good to speak to someone not directly concerned.

We here at the Student Health Center can help you map out your alcohol consumption, give facts and advice, or just listen to your worries. Addiction to alcohol is a common problem in our society today. You might have someone close to you, who has or has had problems. You may turn to us if you need someone to talk to about this.

On the web you find good self tests: You may for instance check out www.downyourdrink.org.uk/, which is a page for all of those who have worried about drinking too much. Do not hesitate to contact the Student Health Unit about your thoughts. All students’ unions at Mid Sweden University have an alcohol policy. You may read more about these on their homepages.
