In Sundsvall, Mid Sweden University recommends three different housing companies and areas of student accommodation to international students.

Mitthem/Stubo

Mitthem is the municipal housing company in Sundsvall with a broad selection of different accommodation options. Mitthem offers approximately 900 apartments and dormitory rooms in various areas in Sundsvall. Most of the student accommodation is located in the centre of Sundsvall with walking distance of both the university campus and the city centre. Campus and Förrådet are attractive as the accommodation is located beside the university. Borgmästaren and Oscarsgatan are located in the city centre a short walk from the university. Nacksta is a popular home among international students, as the area offers a variety of accommodation options. Many students take the opportunity to share a 2-5 bedroom apartment (Swedish and International students). It takes approximately 15 minutes to walk to campus and there is also a regular bus service.

Diös Fastigheter AB

Diös Fastigheter AB provides a number of rooms (corridor living) in the central area called Norrmalm. The area Norrmalm is situated 200 metres from the bus station and about 1 500 metres from the central station. Mid Sweden University is a 10 minute walk away.

Sjöfast AB provides a small number of rooms (10 rooms) at Dalgatan 7 close to campus. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to Mid Sweden University and 15 minutes to Sundsvall city centre.
