The library is an important part of your studies. Through the library you can gain access to course literature, on-line articles, e-books and much much more.

In order to borrow at Mid Sweden University you need a library account. You get a library account when you activate your student portal login and approve of the library lending rules. It takes about an hour after your activation before the library account is made.

When your account has been activated you can use your student portal login in order to make hold requests or borrow books. The same account is valid in all the Mid Sweden University Campus Libraries.

Note that you can reach the library data bases with your student portal log-in

You can use your student portal log-in details to reach the library databases from a computer located outside campus. In this way, you can gain access to most of the library's e-books and e-journals. When you click on a link to a particular e-document you will be asked to enter your student portal user identity and password.
