Kai Kronenberg
Background
I studied business administration with a major in logistics & trade, at the Nürtingen-Geislingen University, in Southwest Germany. During this time, I gained working experience at Daimler-Benz, and was involved in organizing and conducting events for a concert promoter in Munich. After studies abroad in Australia and Cyprus, I graduated with a M.Sc. in Tourism Studies at the Mid-Sweden University in Östersund. Then, I worked for a lagre tourism company in Frankfurt, before I came back to ETOUR.
Current research
Now, I’m involved in the Sprit-project (spridningseffekter inom turismen) with several industry partners from the region Jämtland. The aim of this project is to create a better picture of the economic significance of the tourism industry, and especially, to what extent tourism contributes to the development of other industries in the region.
