Leif Olssons research is in development of network optimization models to promote decision support in global logistics management, as well as, combinations of real options and decision analysis methods to promote strategical decision making.

He is currently programme director of the industrial engineering and management programme at Mid Sweden University(MIUN). Furthermore, project manager for the development of a web based transport matching system as a part of the midnordic green transport corridor project, financed by the EU Baltic sea programme.

 

He holds a position as senior lecturer in industrial management at MIUN. Research cooperation is performed with the ValIt group at MIUN and the DECIDE group at Stockholm University. Teaching is mainly in the area of management sciences, logistics and mathematical statistics.
