Organisation and funding
R.A.W. was established in March 2008, by a two year funding from the research resource of the vice chancellor of the Mid Sweden University with 150 000 Swedish Crowns. It finances travel and accommodation for a few members each year to participate in R.A.W. Events from international partner universities within and outside of Europe.
The network has its organisational base at The Department of Social Work, but cooperates with all departments and Centres at the Mid Sweden university. Dr Mona Livholts, research fellow at the department of social work, is coordinator.
University profile
The R.A.W.network is part of Mid Sweden University’s trademark as a young, dynamic multi-campus environment with a goal to combine academic traditions with new ideas and practices.
The network contributes to strengthening the prioritised goal of internationalisation through the number of international alliances and partnership between the Mid Sweden University and other universities in the network. It opens up an innovative space for international collaboration among scholars in all academic disciplines and offers lectures with international guest researchers on a regular basis open to all staff and students.
The network represents an opportunity to improve and extend previous networks and partners in Sweden, within and outside of Europe.
