Duane Truex researches how emergent language properties influence ISD methods, information systems and enterprise architectures.
He is currently a co-principal investigator for a research program examining ERP post-implementation governance and integration issues in seven countries and is also studying how non-IS managers may participate in modeling their own work systems to better inform the development of organizational IS requirements.
Author of 96 peer-reviewed manuscripts his recent publications explore the nature of scholarly influence, as both ideational and social constructs, in academic communities. Truex is active in the IFIP working groups 8.2 and 8.6 research communities and has been a general chair, program chair, track chair or doctoral consortia co-chair of several major international conferences including the ICIS 2008-Paris.
