Getting started with Endnote Web

Create account

To start using Endnote basic online you need to create a personal account on My Endnote:My.endnote.com

Endnote and Word

You can connect Endnote Basic with Word on your computer, this allows you to enter references and create bibliographies automatically in Word documents using your Endnote library. This feature is called Cite While You Write and is described in a short film below. Word still uses the name Endnote Web for the online version of Endnote.

To be able to use Cite While You Write you need to download and install a plugin for Word on your computer. This plugin also makes it possible to direct export references from several databases.
