How do I access the Library's databases and e-books?

Off-campus

Students and faculty of the Mid Sweden University can access all the library databases from home or anywhere else off-campus.

Log in via the Library’s website

Go to the Library’s website and click on the link to the e-journal, database or e-book that you are interested in. Embeded in these links is a proxy function which enables students and employees at Mid Sweden University to log in. Use your student portal user name and user ID.

If you encounter any technical problems then please contact Helpdesk. Helpdesk is available via e-mail helpdesk@miun.se or via telephone 0771-97 61 30.

Problems with your Student Portal account?

Forgotten your login details or never activated your account? Please contact helpdesk (see above).

Information about the Student Portal

The helpdesk support pages for the Student portal.

On-Campus

While on-campus you are on the Mid Sweden University network and you can access all the Library’s databases without having to log in. This access is available via the computers in the Library, in the computer rooms and in staff offices.
