How do I register a publication in DiVA?

Log in to the Research Database using your student portal id and password. Select ‘My Publications’ > ‘Add publication’. Click on the link to be transferred to the open archive, DiVA. Select the link to the right entitled ‘Språk’ to access the English language version. Click on the link ‘Add publications / upload files’. First select the relevant publication type and then follow the instructions and submit the registration. The record will then be imported into Mid Sweden University’s Research Database with the next weekly update.

PDFs should not generally be uploaded. This option is intended for digital publishing, which is another function of this system. If you decide to parallel publish an article which has already appeared in a journal, you must check with the journal that they allow the practice.
