Rebuilding of the Library Campus Sundsvall

Due to the rebuilding of the library, floor 3 will be closed from week 14 and new group rooms on the 4th floor will be opened around week 16.

The learning resource center (LRC) will be moved from floor 2 in the N-building to the 4th and 5th floors. The reading resource room on floor 2 will be closed and re-opened on the 4th floor on April 8. The books on shelves 700 and 800 will be moved from the 3rd to floor 1. Due to this move it may be difficult to access these books for a few days. 

The library is being renovated during 2015 due to the integration of the campus library in Härnösand scheduled for the summer 2016.

The library is being renovated during 2015 due to the integration of the campus library in Härnösand scheduled for the summer 2016. 

The renovation of the 4th and 5th floors has already begun. Here you will find a Learning Space for students with study rooms and adaptive environments and facilities for "blended learning" for teachers. The floors will be available 24/7 with a Miun card. The new LRC will be located on the 5th floor and the offices for library- and LRC-staff will be on the 5th and 6th floors.

The renovation of the 3rd floor began during Easter, and the 1st and 2nd floors will follow, starting in June.

During the summer there will also be a reconstruction of the entrance of house N for the new Service Center.

The renovation will as far as possible take place when the number of students is lowest during the summer months, although some inconvenience may occur in April and May. The library has closed the 3rd floor from March 30 and parts of the book collections will not be available. The course literature will be given priority and should as far as possible be available.

Skirting boards are mounted on the 3rd floor.

Removal of flooring on the other half of the 3rd floor.

Week 23

New flooring on the other half of the 3rd floor.

Week 24

Skirting boards are mounted.
