MediaSense

The MediaSense project (2008-2010) created an open technology platform for the provision distributed user and sensor information. The platform enables utilization of this information in multimedia service delivery and control across fixed and mobile heterogeneous broadband infrastructure. The project included investments in broadband networks for QoS  and availability of interactive multimedia services focusing on user needs and utility. The MediaSense project cooperated with the VINNOVA funded InterakTiV project regarding seamless multimedia mobility and verification  of interactive multimedia services via heterogeneous wireless infrastructure with ITV Arena.
