How did you first hear about the summer university?
I first heard about the summer university through an ad on the university website. Then I went to the international office to apply.

Did the summer university meet your expectations?
I didn’t expect it to be this many hours. I mean we were busy 8–17 most days. But that’s OK; though I didn´t expect that. In Holland we have maybe 2–3 hours and then independent studies, that’s a lot less.

What did you like the best about the summer university?
The best part was the get-together dinners in the evenings, the barbeque, we had really good dinners, and of course getting to know all the other students, that was nice.

Would you go back to Mid Sweden University if you had the opportunity?
I would really like to come back to study for a Master’s Degree or just a course. I would definitely recommend this to others, as a way to get to know other cultures.

How would you describe the summer university?
It‘s two weeks of studying and having fun! My first impression of Sundsvall was that it was a very empty place, but once you get to know the people it gets comfortable. When you got to know the other students it‘s a nice place to be. Going here alone can be very lonely, but it was a really good course, I enjoyed it!
