On February 25 2015, Sofia Reyier Österling defended her Doctoral Thesis in Chemical Engineering at FSCN, Mid Sweden University. Sofia was part of our earlier industrial research school called Mechanical Pulp Industrial Research College at FSCN MIUN. She has been employed by Stora Enso.
The thesis is called; Distributions of fiber characteristics as a tool to evaluate mechanical pulps. Read more in the abstract in English and Swedish.
Opponent was Professor Robert Lanouette, Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, Canada.
Supervisors have been Prof Per Engstrand, Hans Höglund and Per Gradin together with MSc Olof Ferritsius, Rita Ferritsius and Hans Ersson, Mid Sweden University.
