Masters in Electronics design, Sundsvall.

Where do you live?

 I live at Sidsjövägen in private housing situated near by a  small river. I like it very much because surroundings has wonderful nature and greenery in summer time and is peaceful in winter time.

Why did you choose to study here at Mid Sweden University?

Because the faculty and facilities are international standards and because of interesting innovations in sensor and power supplies field.

Describe Mid Sweden University.

University is really cool and located in 3 places. It's very interesting to go to the other campuses and meet students there when there are some events organized by student union, for example career fairs.

What is special about the program that you are studying here?

I am studying masters in electronics design and its completely different from my home university. Here it is more project work and it will help you to get real time work experience, in my home university it is more theoretical. I am enjoying experiencing real time work problems and solving them.

What do you like about Mid Sweden University in general?

It is a good university, peaceful inside and lot of nature around the university. Near to public transport facility and to the City as well.

What do you appreciate about Sundsvall?

I am studying at Sundsvall campus, the city has good nature, lakes, skiing slopes, pubs and clubs.

What do you like about Sweden in general?

Wonderful nature and landscapes.

What is the biggest difference to your home country?

Sweden has more nature and landscapes and of course it's very cold in winter compared to India.

How do you spend your free time?

I have been to many parties and snowboarding in winter time and exploring Sweden.

Describe the social life as a student in Sweden.

As an international student, you will get good help from student union, international student committee and the university as well.

Is there the opportunity for doing sports at Mid Sweden University or in your city?

You can play soccer, ice hockey, squash, basketball and recently they introduced cricket also. I like to play cricket.

Would you recommend other international students to study here?

Yes I recommend the university for international students. Mid Sweden University has modern infrastructure and international standards.
