Economics is the social science that studies the choices that individuals, business, government and entire societies make as they cope with scarcity and the incentives that influence and reconcile those choices.

Economics has three main objectives: The first one to explain, given a wide range of circumstances, how does an individual make a rational choice between the available alternatives. The second one to understand the nature of social institutions, such as firms and markets, within which such choices are made. The third one, to analyse how do these individuals and institutions interact to generate outcomes for society as a whole.

Courses offered to the foreign students, are courses following earlier studies at the intermediate level. It means that you must have the intermediate level before you enter the courses.

The courses at BA level and the courses at MA level are given in English and accessible to foreign students.
