"Social Psychological factors and democracy"
The general aim of this project is to understand social psychological factors influencing democracy and inequality issues on individual and organizational level. Of special interest here is the role of gender as gender inequality is manifested in many ways in society, both horizontally, by division of labor, and vertically, by uneven distribution of power. In the present project two approaches (attitudes and situational factors influencing decisions making and collective judgments) converge into one, where both individual and group perspectives are applied on judgments and decisions concerning competence evaluations, personnel selection, etc, in a series of experimental studies.
