"Emotion and electrophysiological components"

Utilising the EEG (electroencephalogram emotional influence on the activity of a variety of cognitive processes, such as visuo-spatial attention, inhibition and mistakes are studied. Known components N2pc, C1, LRP and ERN, are analysed and evaluated.

This project has produced several conference papers and one doctoral thesis is on its way. Presently the temporal and anatomical location of fear in the brain, before and after intervention is being investigated. Findings from the latter are presented at the Society for Psychophysiology (SPR) meeting in October 2013.
