Bakgrund

Gustav Lidén (PhD in Political Science, 2011) has his background in comparative politics. During 2012 and 2013 he was post doctoral fellow at the Department of Social Sciences at Mid Sweden University. In late 2012 he spent time at Åbo Akademi University as a visiting scholar. Since 2014 Lidén is Associate Professor (docent) in political science at Mid Sweden University.

Forskningsområden

Lidén's research focus is directed towards two fields:
- Explanations to variations in local migration policy.
- Local usage of information technology in political processes.

Undervisning

Lidén is head of the undergraduate programme of social sciences. His own teaching has stretched from undergraduate to advanced levels with a primarily focus towards courses in research methods.
