Miun Opportunities is Innovation office Fyrklövern´s new “idea bank” – a digital platform where researches will be able to present their results and ideas to the industry and the public.

Miun Opportunities will contain multiple ideas presented in an easily comprehensible and descriptive way; ideas and results that have a clear potential and benefit. The ideas and results that are presented can be used to create public benefit in a traditional way, by starting a company or licensing the right of commercialization.

Miun Opportunities will also present ideas and results in cases where researchers are prepared to hand their results over to a partner outside of the university. To ensure that the results benefit the public, the researcher can offer his or her idea free of charge through the Easy Access IP method.

To get access to a free offer, the company must commit to the following

• The researcher will be accredited with the result or the idea and be allowed to continue the research within the field
• Mid Sweden University must be allowed to participate in enabling the commercialization
• The result must benefit the public
