The Master by Research in Informatics is a two-year research education programme. We have a research direction towards virtual collaboration. Within these area of virtual collaboration crisis management and the technology enhanced learning domains are especially interesting.
The Master by Research in Informatics is a two-year research education programme leading to a Master thesis within the area of virtual collaboration. The master students will work in cooperation with the research group Critical Information (CRIINFO). Technology enhanced learning and virtual collaboration are two of three prioritized areas within the CRIINFO research group.
Students will undertake their own research projects supervised by senior researchers in the CRIINFO group. This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to start an academic research career or make a research contribution to both the actual research field and the practice.
Positions available
Two positions in the Master by Research will be offered each year. It is possible to begin in either the fall or spring semesters. The Master by Research is a full time study programme.
Location
Östersund Campus, the education is an on-line education.

Requirements
Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent (at least 180 Credits/180 ECTS), in, informatics, computer and systems science, with at least 30 Credits (30 ECTS) in a subsidiary subject other than the major subject.
