"Psychological factors and chronic pain: Risk factors and treatment"

This is a project developed at the county council in Stockholm with 6.000 women aged 18-64 years.

One of the aims was to describe women´s experiences of pain and correlates. Predictors of pain could assist the individual as well as society in treatment planning.

The project is a collaborative project between the county council of Stockholm, Stockholm University and the departments of Public Health sciences and Psychology at MIUN. The project has published several peer-reviewed articles, conference papers and one doctoral thesis.
