Welcome! You have been accepted on one of our English Studies courses. So what happens next?
Below you will find a link that will provide all of the information you need to get started as a new student. Please read the information links on that page so that you don't miss any important points.

Click here for information about the following:
1. Activate your studentportal account. You will need to do this in order to register for the course. This applies to students who are studying one of our Campus courses or Net courses.
2. Register for your course. Once you have activated your studentportal account you can register yourself on your course.
3. Access Learning Platforms. For all our Net courses and even some Campus courses we use the Blacboard/WebCT platform. Some Campus courses will also make use of Blackboard/WebCT.
4. Library information. The library is an important part of your studies and can be used by Campus students as well as Net students.
5. Security cards. You will need this card to access computer rooms on campus so is only relevant for students who live close to one of the campus areas.
6. Student Union (Studentkåren). Campus students can join the union where the course is given (Härnösand or Östersund). Net students can join the Härnösand union but if you are already a member of a different union then you can continue as a member there.
7. PUL Certificate (PUL-intyg). Swedish law requires that you sign and send in a PUL (Personuppgiftslagen) certificate.

8. Introduction Task. This information is only relevant for Englsih A Net Course and Business Writing students. Students starting the A Net course need to submit an introductory task to confirm their participation on the course.
