"Intimate partner violence and related factors"

This project is based on a European survey (DOVE, http://www.doveproject.eu/) with 3,889 persons aged 18-64 years (women/men) in 8 European countries (i.e. Belgium, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, UK).

One main aim was to describe violence by type, frequency and severity and correlates.

The departments of Psychology and Public Health sciences at MIUN are involved for Sweden, with the department of Psychology as the main partner in Sweden. The project is in the process of pooling findings together and publishing them. The first peer-reviewed article (methodological) has been accepted. Other papers are on their way.
