The Master by Research in Archives and Information Science is a two-year research education programme leading to a Master thesis within the Centre for Digital Information Management (CEDIF). The overall aim of the CEDIF research program is to develop models and implementation methods applicable in both public and private organisations that will support standards-compliant, efficient digital information management for current needs and long-term preservation and access.

Students will undertake their own research projects supervised by the Professor and other CEDIF team members. This is an excellent opportunity for those who wish to start an academic research career or make a research contribution to the archival and information management professions and industry.
