Mid Sweden University is an active partner in one of the most promising coming public complex and integrated electronic services (e-services) which in two years will form an essential part of Swedish e-governmental services to the citizens.

The project is called Bygga Villa (Home Building Guide) and is an e-service in the process of planning, building, and living in your home. A problem today is that building matters are too complicated and time-consuming; different business systems are not able to communicate with one another; information have to be handed over on several occasions and its hard to follow the process.

The project consists of three big parts; Mid Sweden University participates in the research part with two studies focused on the question of how to preserve digitally born information in complex and integrated e-services.
