A research initiative for more knowledge about the Swedish mountains

The research initiative A Magnificent Mountain Landscape will provide us with more knowledge for sustainable development and future management of the Swedish mountains. The research initiative aims at encouraging a holistic view of the mountain landscape and is based on close collaboration with the mountain stakeholders.

The research initiative is funded by the Environmental Protection Agency and
supports the national environmental quality objective A Magnificent Mountain Landscape.
