SMADIT: Collaboration excellence recognised by Vinnova

SMADIT– this cooperative method of tackling the use of drugs and alcohol in trafficbegan in 2006 as a project between Örebro’s police, regional and localauthorities, addiction centers, social services, prison service and the SwedishTransport Administration. Working with the Criminology programme at ÖrebroUniversity the SMADIT network have created a guide to the method, and Vinnovahave recognised this partnership as an excellent example of impactfulcollaboration. 
The License Bank is now raising awareness of the SMADIT collaboration, itsresults and the availability of the guide.
