Hacking Game for security awareness

Creating security awareness through a hacking game. How can we make customers experience the world of a hacker, without becoming too technical and how can they bring about a behavioural change?

More about the project and goals

Research shows more than 89% of all hacked cases in organisations are caused by ignorance and unjust handling by employees. They click on phishing mails, lose mobile devices and share information with unauthorised persons. Employees are also not aware of their position  in de security framework of the organisation. It is important for employees to understand where they stand in the security framework of their organisation. With the help of a Security Awareness training they can learn how they should act.

If you want to change their behaviour is necessary to make employees more aware of security issues. Flooding the intranet with posters, e-mails and messages about the latest hacked company has not proven effective. When we look at the behavioural change model from M.F.K. Balm we should be able to reach the optimal result. We believe in the model and underlying method, and thinks that a training to experience security issues from a different perspective is the best way to create security awareness. In this case from the viewpoint of a hacker.
