How to obtain a library account

You get a library account when you activate your student portal login, register to a course and approve of the library lending rules. If you missed to do this you can apply for a library account

Searching and lending

Of the Mid Sweden compulsory course literature, we usually buy two copies; A short loan and a 14 day loan. Short loans have very short lending time in order for as many as possible to have access to their course literature. We also have literature for 30 day loans. To search for course books and other literature use the Library's search engine Primo. In Primo you will also find e-books, articles, journals etc. How to use Primo:

You borrow books by using our lending machines. Log in with your student portal login + your password.

If the book you are looking for is not on the shelf you can make a reservation in Primo. The overdue fine is SEK 5 /book and day. An overdue short loan costs SEK 100/book and day. To renew your books login to Primo and My account. In My account you can also change your contact information. We send messages via email so make sure we always have your correct email address.
