Current research
The working title of her doctoral thesis is "Att dö in i sin bild. Moderskomplex, mask och sofiamystik hos Lars Ahlin". In dialogue with the previous research in his writings, and related to chosen parts of Dostojevsky’s "The Brothers Karamazov", the study focuses on recurrent, shame-related, motifs in several of the novels of Lars Ahlin, such as a negative mother complex, mask and a transforming experience rooted in the concept of Sophia in the Orthodox Christian tradition. These thematic strands converge into the characteristic Ahlinian vision of equality.
