MILAB - Materials and Innovation Laboratory

Welcome to our new Materials and Innovation Laboratory at campus Sundsvall. Our ambition is to coordinate and develop materials science knowledge and equipment in the region to support development of innovations, services, products, businesses and research.

We aim to build a platform for researchers, students and companies to meet and work together side by side. This laboratory is a strategic action to strengthen our region in collaboration with SCA Forest Products, Akzo Nobel and funded by EU regional development Fund, Knowledge Foundation, Landstinget Västernorrland, Swedish Energy Agency, Sundsvalls kommun, Härnösands kommun, Timrå kommun. It is also a part of the innovation clusters in the region RISE, Fiber Optic Valley and RISE Processum.
