Forskningsområden

Mina forskningsområden är organisationskommunikation, interkulturell kommunikation, strategisk kommunikation och journalism. Forskningen bedrivs inom organisationer både i Sverige och i andra länder.

Pågående forskning

För närvarande deltar jag i projektet som kommer att utvärdera effekten av ledarskap och kommunikations utbildning i två stora svenska multinational organisationer. Ett annat projekt som jag driver själv handlar om ledarskap och integration från ett kommunikationsperspektiv. Projektet som syftar till att förstå kommunikations dynamik på arbetsplatser med etnisk mångfald inom vården i Sverige genom att samla kunskap om kommunikation mellan anställda med utländsk bakgrund och deras kollegor och ledaren. Syftet är att bidra med kunskap för att kunna skapa strategier för en demokratisk och hälsosam arbetsplats.

Undervisning

Jag arbetar på Mittuniversitet sedan 2010. Under dessa år har jag undervisat inom flera ämnen. De mest frekventa kurser jag har undervisat är kommunikation och ledarskap, strategisk kommunikation samt handlett C-uppsatser. Jag undervisar även på master kurser. Jag håller kurser både på svenska och engelska. De engelska kurserna vänder sig mest men inte endast till utbytesstudenter.

Övrigt

Förutom undervisning och forskning är jag även international co-ordinator för MKV och Programansvarig för Kommunikation och Public Relations.
Angående forskning är jag ordförande för Demicom:s Högre Allmänna seminarier samt medlem i den forskningsetiska kommittén.
