Simone Grimaldi
Bakgrund
Simone is a PhD student in Communication Systems and Networks at Mid Sweden University (MIUN). He received a Bachelor Degree and a Master Degree in telecommunication engineering from L’Aquila University, Italy. He has been Thesis worker at ABB Corporate Research Center in Västerås, Sweden, with a Master Thesis titled “Restabilizing the Communication in Industrial Wireless Sensor Networks”. He is a PhD student at MIUN since 2015.
Pågående forskning
Simone is currently working on the topic of dependable communication for Industrial Wireless Sensor and Actuator Networks. Aspects of interests in his research are algorithms for fault-tolerant communication, high Quality-of-Service enforcing for critical data-traffic and techniques for interference classification and mitigation.
