The new Ladok system offers greater legal security and a more efficient administration

"Nya Ladok", the student administration system, will be implemented at Mid Sweden University on 6–18 November. During this period, both the current and the new Ladok system will be completely shut down.

The Swedish Winter Sports Research Centre first to be accredited

For the first time in history a laboratory outside of the British Isles has been inspected and accredited by The British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, BASES. The Swedish Winter Sports Research Centre, SWSRC, which is part of Mid Sweden University, has attained this unique seal of approval after completing the accreditation process during the spring.

Unique joint Master in Photojournalism in Scandinavia!

In the fall of 2020, a unique international Master in Photojournalism is planned to start in Scandinavia. It will be shared between three renowned higher-level photojournalism educations in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

Social Inequalities in Disaster Preparedness Communication

The way authorities communicate societal risks and crises reveals a vulnerable and unequal society. This is part of the findings of an international study from the Risk and Crisis Research Center (RCR) at Mid Sweden University. Researchers have examined how authorities in eight EU member states communicate societal risk and crisis to the public.
